Project statement
Alternate Universe is a personal project about the distance between truth and reality. The photographs grew from questions about perception: what we see, what we believe, and how private fears, memories, and imagination can shape a reality that may exist only for us.
Rather than trying to resolve that tension, the work stays inside it, moving between the visible world and an inner one.
